Sent prints of this out for Christmas... I'm happy with parts of it but more watercolor practice is to come.

It's two kids under a tree with their backpacks.  The left kid's backpack makes her look lumpy, but really shes just smaller than her pack.

This is the first post to include something that I haven't birthed myself, but I'm very happy I found this band.

Beach Thing is getting there, I was aiming with this piece to mimic a photograph with the perspective and scaling dropoff.

I also think I overthought it.

Are Paintings of Imaginary People still Portraits?

Well, I was having a hard time finalizing a painting that I'm trying to get perfect and its taken so long I felt a bit rusty on my pencil and inking.

So, to de-rust a little, I grabbed this doodle from class that I kind of liked and decided to make it into a full sized (14x26ish I think) portrait which I'm going to experiment with watercolor techniques n' such. To put them into perspective, the doodle is about the size of the knot on the inking's tie.

Anyway, heres the doodle and inking. All for fun.

This Summer

Well, I guess I'll try to do some arting this summer. I also guess that I'll post it up here so a select few can see the art things that I've done.
