Sent prints of this out for Christmas... I'm happy with parts of it but more watercolor practice is to come.

Update kind of for Updates Sakes
Beach is done.
Uhm.
Portfolio is almost done.
This is the first post to include something that I haven't birthed myself, but I'm very happy I found this band.
Listen?
Yup.

Oh. Stuff.
Beach Thing is getting there, I was aiming with this piece to mimic a photograph with the perspective and scaling dropoff.
I also think I overthought it.
My other project:
It's a house!

Without much else that I've taken pictures of (as the camera is much further away that I had hoped) here is the cover and two pages of my portfolio so far. Thoughts?
In the end I will use higher resolution images of the pieces, no worries.

Are Paintings of Imaginary People still Portraits?
Well, I was having a hard time finalizing a painting that I'm trying to get perfect and its taken so long I felt a bit rusty on my pencil and inking.
So, to de-rust a little, I grabbed this doodle from class that I kind of liked and decided to make it into a full sized (14x26ish I think) portrait which I'm going to experiment with watercolor techniques n' such. To put them into perspective, the doodle is about the size of the knot on the inking's tie.
Anyway, heres the doodle and inking. All for fun.
